This Privacy Policy explains what information LifeUp Daily (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit https://lifeupdaily.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. LifeUp Daily is a home organization and life hacks blog for readers in the United States. By using this website, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
We try to collect as little information as possible. Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Information you give us. If you leave a comment or email us, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, email address, website, and the content of your message or comment.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting server and analytics tools receive technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Small files stored in your browser, described in the next section.
We do not ask for sensitive information, and we do not sell products or take payments on this website.
Cookies
Cookies help a website work and help us understand how it is used. This site may use:
- Comment cookies. If you leave a comment and choose to save your details, WordPress stores your name, email address, and website in cookies so you do not have to type them again. These cookies last for up to one year.
- Analytics cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart and measure how the site is used (see “Analytics” below).
- Third-party cookies. When you click an affiliate link or open an embedded item, the other website or affiliate network may set its own cookies (see “Affiliate Links” below).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some features, such as saved comment details, may not work as expected.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit for WordPress) to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site, for example which articles are popular and which devices people use. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your IP address, browser, device, and pages visited. We use this information only to improve our content and the site, and we do not use it to identify you personally.
We also use Google Search Console, which gives us aggregated data about how our pages appear in Google Search results (for example, search queries and clicks). Search Console does not place cookies on your device through this site.
Google processes this data under its own policies. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Comments
When you leave a comment, we collect the information shown in the comment form (name, email address, and optional website), plus your IP address and browser user agent string to help prevent spam. Your email address is never shown publicly. Comments may be held for moderation before they appear.
If you have a Gravatar account, an anonymized string created from your email address (a “hash”) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you have a profile picture. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Comments and their related data are kept until they are deleted, so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically.
Affiliate Links and Disclosure
LifeUp Daily is reader-supported. Some posts contain affiliate links. If you click one and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We currently work with brands through the PartnerBoost affiliate network and through brand affiliate programs, and we may join other programs, such as the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, in the future. If we do, we will update this policy and our disclosure.
When you click an affiliate link, the affiliate network and the retailer may use cookies or similar tracking to record that you came from our site, so the sale can be credited. They may collect information such as your IP address, device, and the time of the click under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your name, payment details, or what else you buy. For details on how we choose products, see our Affiliate Disclosure.
Third-Party Links and Embedded Content
Our articles link to other websites, such as stores and product pages, and may include embedded content such as images, videos, or social media posts. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited the other website, which may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with that content. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of other websites, so please review their privacy policies before sharing information with them.
How We Use Information

How We Share Information

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site (such as our web host and Google Analytics), with affiliate networks and retailers when you choose to click an affiliate link, or when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Data Retention and Security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of Google Analytics. We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no website or internet transmission is completely secure.
